Clay Aiken Is A Dad!

Claymates, start your knitting needles — Clay Aiken became a father today. In a bizarre series of circumstances that we don’t really want to know about, the American Idol runner-up artificially inseminated his 50-year-old record producer/best friend Jaymes Foster. News broke in late May that Aiken and his pal had conceived a child, and according to Perez Hilton, Clay’s mom confirmed the news on a local radio station today.

We wish the baby boy, named Parker Foster Aiken, the best of luck in the world. Because we can all imagine having a sexually confounding pop star dad doesn’t make for the easiest schoolyard experience.
