Sarah Silverman: Jimmy Kimmel “Broke My Heart”

Sarah Silverman knew what she was doing when dropped a surprise thank you to ex-boyfriend Jimmy Kimmel while accepting the Best Original Music And Lyrics Emmy for “I’m F*cking Matt Damon” at the Creative Arts ceremony on Saturday (last year, the award went to Andy Samberg and Justin Timberlake’s “Dick In A Box”—bleeps get you Emmys, folks).

Matt Damon, I’m going to be honest, had very little to do with this being popular. And the person for who this video was made, Jimmy Kimmel, who broke my heart, oops … who… will always have a place in my heart.

Was she just making a joke, or was there a little post-split catharsis involved? Don’t worry, Sarah. There are a lot of bright, charming, funny guys who would be happy to date you—and they don’t look like rejects from Swingers 2: Swing Harder.
