The election might be over, but the bills still have to be paid. Remember that $150,000 shopping spree for Sarah Palin that was being pinned on overzealous aides? According to Newsweek, the Palin clan may have spent more—and held more responsibility—than was originally let on. Here are some of their juicier accusations.
- “Nicolle Wallace had told Palin to buy three suits for the convention and hire a stylist. But instead, the vice presidential nominee began buying for herself and her family—clothes and accessories from top stores such as Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus.”
- “Palin also used low-level staffers to buy some of the clothes on their credit cards.”
- “One aide estimated that she spent ‘tens of thousands’ more than the reported $150,000, and that $20,000 to $40,000 went to buy clothes for her husband. Some articles of clothing have apparently been lost.”
They also suggest that John McCain was kept from the truth, out of fears that it might enrage him. According to a Palin spokesperson, “nasty and false accusations following a defeat say more about the person who made them than they do about Governor Palin.” If they’re true, though—it would go a long way to explaining why the campaign wouldn’t let her speak last night. “Get thee to an igloo!”

Sarah needs to decide what she wants to be ….. a politiician or a white trash, hot mama on the cover of Vogue magazine. Our society doesn’t seem to have respect for decent, moral people, or ethics when it comes to folks in the limelight, thus - Vogue and their “scary” cover. Also, those in the limelight do not seem to know they are very, very crude, thus - Vogue and their “scary” cover.
I think our government has gone long enough “fiddling,” while we burned and it is time to get on the right path. One thing is to get rid of the scattered brained, empty headed, flighty people mistakenly chosen to lead. Sarah defnitely needs to go back to Alaska where she can see Russia on the other side of the Artctic Ocean.

Sarah Palin was the brightest thing that has happened to America in years. She represents what the hateful, jealous people are so afraid of, goodnes and intelligence. My gosh can’t she shop for her family, who knows how long she not been able to go shopping.
She has cleaned up Alaska, that is more experience than most politicians have had in the lower thant low rated Congress. She represents us, middle America the heart of America. She is our hero, could have been our savior from the no accounts, the liars, the cheats who are calling themselves “Congress”. What are they doing to help us, they take our money and waste it completely. We will see what the new agenda does for this country. We will see what the new administration and the low rated Congress will do for us in middle America…
