A new study has revealed that teenagers who watch shows like Sex and The City and other TV programs featuring explicit sex scenes are more likely to get knocked up (or knock up someone else). The report, which was recently published in Pediatrics magazine, asserts that, “those who viewed the most sexual content were almost twice as likely to get pregnant or get their girlfriend pregnant as those who saw the least explicit TV.”
The timing of the report couldn’t be worse, as Kim Cattrall revealed today that there will indeed be a second installation of the Sex and The City movie. “We will do the sequel next summer,” she said in a UK interview. Time for parents around the world to lock up their kids! If just watching Sex inspires them to do it, then we can only imagine the effect that 3 hours of Carrie Bradshaw’s libido will have on teens. They’re bound to, ya know, get carried away. [Photo: AFP/GettyImages]
