Lily Allen’s Ass Checked For Drugs In Dubai

We all gritted our teeth in bitterness when we watched the A-listers whoop it up last week at the credit-crunch-defying opening of the $1.4 billion Atlantis resort in Dubai last week. And originally we thought they didn’t have to pay for the pleasure of snaffling champagne, oysters and the coolest hotel rooms going — but oh, they did pay. Not with cash, but with their dignity. Because it’s emerged that stars like Lily Allen and model Agyness Deyn were subjected to total strip searches upon arriving in Dubai. Ouch.

“I knew I didn’t have anything on me, so I wasn’t worried. I wasn’t paranoid, just terrified. It was at the airport and took more than an hour. It was really scary as they didn’t tell you what they were doing, they just said, ‘Take off trousers’ and I was like, ‘Ahhh, help’,” Lily told the Mail on Sunday.

We love Lily, and especially the way she phrases “I knew I didn’t have anything on me,” which begs the unspoken suffix “at that moment in time.” But we do pity the poor girl for her bum deal. Heh. Heh. [Photo: Getty Images Entertainment]
