Citizen Scandal: One-Eyed Inmate Eats Other Eye

25-year-old Andre Thomas is insane. He was insane when, almost five years ago, he stabbed his wife and two children in their Sherman, Texas apartment. He was insane when he ripped their hearts out, put them in his pocket and drove back to his home. He was insane when he stuck the organs in a plastic bag and threw them in the trash. He was insane when he stabbed himself and drove to the police station. He was insane when, awaiting trial, he took his right eye out (this being Texas, he was still found competent to stand and given the death sentence). He was definitely insane when he pulled out his other eye and ingested it early last month. After recovering from his injury, he’s finally going to the psychiatric ward. Glad to see the state of Texas is catching on.
