Oh, well, sort of. The stunt double for Daniel Radcliffe’s boy wizard has been severely injured on the set of the last Harry Potter movie, when a practice stunt went horribly wrong.
“The stunt double was badly hurt. He was rehearsing a flying scene that involved an explosion and it seems to have gone badly wrong. The guy was rigged up to a harness for the scene and was flying through the air. It is thought he may have been caught by the explosion and hit the ground very hard,” reports The Mirror.
The 25-year-old man’s been taken to the hospital after telling crew members he couldn’t feel anything from the waist down. Grim. We might be tempted to make jokes about various magic tricks that would surely fix his injuries, but, er, it’s just inappropriate. Hope you get better, anonymous stunt guy. I shouldn’t laugh about that but I still think it’s funny as hell.
