On March 25th, T.I. will finally begin his year-and-a-day long prison sentence for illegally stockpiling automatic weapons. Unlike most felons convicted on gun charges, T.I. got to spend a year between his conviction and jail term filming movies, videos and a reality show, releasing a hit album, touring, performing at award ceremonies, birthday parties and inaugural balls. He even fielded rumors that he’d be named president of Atlantic Records. Why was he free to do all this? So he could do 1,000 hours of community service, telling children that they shouldn’t illegally stockpile automatic weapons because,well, it might hurt your career…if you aren’t lucky enough to be him. If it wasn’t for the sentence, he’d probably still be talking about his multiple personalities.

ti hope when he get out he be a better man so he can make some more music ,and be a good rolemodel for his son teach him the streets is not the way of life just like he teaching these youn men he be trin to help out on his show he show them young men that robbing and steeling is not the way to go get there life togther so they want have to in up in jail or dead and he doing a good job we now thats his commity service to do be fore he go to do his time thasts good that he helping them young men ,wish him all the best in life and what ever he do wen he get out in the year

Ti already is a better man he is AN excellent man and a wonderful rapper if you saw his “road to redemption” TV show and you were paying CLOSE attention then you would have realized that it was out of paranoia and being cautious BECAUSE his longest living friend Philant was killed by some HATERSZ and this is very serious so to all who has things twisted up need to get right i like what you just wrote gail very interesting BUT do u and many many other people who have things boggled realize that he was paranoid about tha fact that the people who killed his LONGEST LIVING friend were and still are out there so he was charged for having guns im unaware about the other charges and if he had any other charges but yes and i COMPLETELY understand him worrying so thats my word…with all luv 2 T.I. and good luck still 1 of my fave rappersz music is always dope im not bein mean im jus keepin it real 2 fingersz…

it’s very sad that he’s going away. He has a huge fanbase and he’s doing wonderful things for his community. I just think it’s a little funny that when entertainers are doing things that they know are illegal in the first place,they are remorseful when they get caught. I love T.I as much as everybody but the act is a little overrated brother!:}
