Actor and notorious booze-hound David Hasselhoff was rushed to the hospital this weekend after his 16-year-old daughter Hayley found him passed out on the floor of his home. Hayley called her mom - the Hoff’s ex-wife Pamela - and she drove him to the hospital.
The Baywatch star apparently dropped a .39 alcohol level, and spies reveal that he was “barely breathing when they got him to the hospital.” Hasselhoff infamously became a viral video star two years ago when a clip of him drunk and eating a hamburger on the floor wound up on the web.
At the time, he said in a statement, “I am a recovering alcoholic,” and called the incident “a brief relapse.” His teenage daughter recorded him and can be heard in the video telling him, “you need to promise me you’re not going to get alcohol tonight.” Watch it below. [Photo: GettyImages]

OK, it still amazes me that famous people needs to abuse alcohol and drugs despite having everything they want in the world. If they followed a more simple life, lived comfortably but not overmuch, they maybe happier. And realize God is great, and to turn to him in troubled times. Or whoever they worship, I just know God is good to me.

iIt’s called ADDICTION–it doesn’t matter if you’re famous or not, have money or not, if you’re good looking or not. People with addictions aren’t losers–they have a disease, and unless you’ve been in their shoes, you have no idea what they are going through. I just hope Hasslehoff gets some help.

Addiction doesn’t pick and choose if you are rich or poor, famous or not. No one chooses to “need” to abuse alcohol and drugs. It’s not a need. Its an addiction and sickness…..And obviously they don’t have everything in the world they want because they have a substance abuse problem. I don’t know anyone who chooses that in life…I suggest you get educated on addiction and then post a comment.

I can almost see why he was that way, I was there to, in a way, the job ,wife. and two boys , I was the only one bringing in the money to live on, in order to sleep I had to pass out or I would have been up 24/7 taking care of the kids / house while she sat on her butt bithin cus noyhing was getting done, when I was at work the house was trashed, andI cleaned it after work while she sat on her butt ( this is true )
