Jessica Biel Blames Her Beauty For Lack Of Good Roles

Well, this is a new one. We were always under the impression that Hollywood favored the young and beautiful, but you can apparently be blacklisted for excessive hotness. At least according to Jessica Biel, who told Allure that her gorgeous body gets in the way of great roles.

It’s really a problem. I have to be blunt. I’m in there with everybody else, fighting for the good parts. Yes, The Illusionist has made a difference — but a huge, massive difference, so I can pick and choose what I want? No.

I just want an opportunity. If you don’t like the audition, don’t hire me! But if you don’t want to even see me — that’s hurtful. And why? You know nothing about me!

Yeah, it might be that she’s too hot. Or maybe it’s because casting agents saw her in such flops as Home Of The Brave, Stealth, Elizabethtown, London and the new stripper epic Powder Blue. Until the movies are full of ordinary ugmos, Biel’s Allure pity party will have to be a party of one.
