Gossip Girl Star Debates Potty Training In Divorce Court
Gossip Girl fans looking for some drama over the summer should keep up with Lily Van Der Woodsen’s divorce trial. Actress Kelly Rutherford recently hired a private investigator to film ex-husband Daniel Giersch’s backyard to prove that he didn’t cover his swimming pool for three days. Now, by court order, Giersch must keep it covered in case 2-year-old son Hermes, wanders by—despite his lack of access. Glad that’s settled!
The next big legal debate? Whether Hermes should be potty trained. The pregnant Rutherford is due to drop their second child in less than a month, and the pair disagree as to whether the upcoming baby and custody battle are making it too stressful a time for Hermes to stop pooping his pants. A judge will hear the arguments on Friday. Seriously. Because this is a matter for the court. Someone should get these people a reality show.
