Ed Westwick On Fat Gossip: “It’s Ludicrous!”

Ed Westwick looked a little paunchy vacationing in Miami earlier this year, but now that he’s worked off that winter weight, he’s lashing out at those who dared to notice. He vented to E! about the whispering at the Young Hollywood awards Sunday, where he took home Best Breakthrough Male.

[The craziest gossip ever is] that I’m fat! It was something like ‘the wardrobe department on Gossip Girl has to keep changing his clothes due to his expanding waistline.’ It’s ludicrous!

Don’t be so resentful, Ed! The attention obviously inspired you to step away from love handle-hood and bring your cheekbones back to their full glory. Defensive denial is not the way to combat these things—seriously.
