Report: Megan To Be New Lara Croft, Angie Annoyed
She’s been compared to Angelina Jolie for a while now, and even Megan Fox admits she “gets” the comparisons. “[It] comes from the fact that people think I have an ‘I don’t give a f***’ attitude because I have tattoos and dark hair. I appreciate it - who wouldn’t?” she tells Metro.
But Megan has now apparently incurred the wrath of Angie herself by reportedly nabbing the role of a young Lara Croft in a new Tomb Raider prequel. “Angie was intent on reprising her role. She feels it’s something she helped define and feels robbed that it looks likely to be handed to someone who she considers less capable than her,” reports the Sun.
While we’re taking that “reaction” with a big pinch of salt, we think Megan would make a kick-ass Lara. If only so we can look forward to hearing her British accent. Oh dear. [Photos: Getty Images, FilmMagic]

I think Angie is taking too much credit for Tomb Raider. The game defined Lara Croft, not the movie. Megan Fox is a good actress and will do a good job. Angie is getting older and granted she is still very beautiful but people don’t see her in the same light any more. Plus I don’t know any one male or female that would’nt want to see Megan in the outfit that made Lara Croft famous in the first place!

I think that Megan fox is beautiful but she will NEVER be Angelina Jolie. The role of Lara croft belongs to Angie. I megan fox is a great actress but I personally wouldnt see the movie if it doesnt star Angelina. I have both the movies and all the video games and Angelina is the only one who can do that part justice. Sorry Megan not this time

angelina jolie is the most beautiful woman in the world!and i think it sucks that megan fox would take that role from her considering she admires her(so i’ve read).megan fox is gorgeous extremely gorgeous but her beauty isin’t unique.i love megan fox but really she can’t be angelina jolie!

I like how they make these stories so vague and try to make it seem like Angelina even cares about Megan Fox. Angelina has a career based on her accomplishments and it doesn’t hurt the fact that she is absolutely gorgeous. I wish the media would stop trying to make it seem like there is jealousy between these two women. They are from two different genres. I think Megan is beautiful but she will never be Angelina. They are nothing alike to me. Let these two women carry on with their lives and let Megan Fox prove to us she is worthy of all the attention she is getting. Yes she has the looks but her acting abilities have yet to be proven.

I don’t see why Angelina Jolie is going to be vexed about Megan Fox taking her role of Lara Croft.
You’re comparing a senior artist to a junior artist. Megan Fox just entered the industry and Angie has been in the industry for awhile. She’s on the top because of her acting skills and as a bonus she got the looks too. Maybe Megan Fox can make it like her after so many great hits.

it would be a slap in the face to Angelina, because if it wasnt for her the tomb raider movieswould have neveer made as big of hit as they did. I mean who dont love Angelinas movies and everything about her?Who the hell is Megan Fox anywho, nobody ive ever even heard of. If Megan does do it it WILL NOT gross near what Angelinas movies have in the past
