Chris Brown’s BET Awards Performance Cancelled After Protest
It’s a rough time for Chris Brown, and it seems like while there are some people (Rihanna) who can forgive him of his transgressions, there are others who still hold grudges. Brown was set to perform at the BET Awards on Sunday but certain influential folks like Al Sharpton and Jay-Z weren’t having it and the singer’s performance was pulled.
A source told the New York Daily News: “Al made such a fuss to the BET executives that they pulled Chris. Jay is a big name in the BET community, and he was very vocal about his displeasure with Chris attending the ceremony. He didn’t want Chris anywhere near the awards so close to the court’s ruling.”
That Jay-Z would put up this kind of stink is no surprise. When news of Rihanna’s beating broke in February, Jay was allegedly enraged and called Chris a “walking dead man.” He has long been protective of Rihanna since discovering her five years ago and signing her to Def Jam Records. I’m Glad no woman beater deserves to have an opportunity to shine. If he wasn’t a celebrity he would have been in Jail. Hope no Comeback is soon made.

can’t believe chris brown was pulled!!!! I have footage of Jay Z pie facing some lady, Don cornelieus is a known woman beater and T.I is in jail for a felony!!! And you are gonna tell me that Chris Brown Can’t perform!!! That’s hypocritical like a motha!!! Some criminals can perform but others cant? Jay Z is a great rapper but he cant dance or sing (his lala’s where off tune) Chris Brown would have made the show awesome!!! He is the closest as far as dancing skills to Mike. How can we forgive others but not on e of the best!!! Jay Z needs to stop crying Rhianna forgave Chris And He hasn’t!! WTF!! Debora Lee needs to run her network and don’t let theese bitter cats run it for her!! Its time to forgive and forget!!! First of all Jay-Z needs to sit his old tale down some where he does not have the right to hold a judge against Chris Brown because he wasnt there when it happen (im not saayin what Chris brown did was right) and because his performance was a HOT MESS and his music is a HOT MESS.
Second Al Sharpton shouldnt have made a fuss himself because should have thought about Michal Jackson’s death and just the fact that he’s a suposed “MAN OF GOD” he should not persicut those who make mistakes.

I think that chris brown shouldve went to jail the first time that he layed hands on Rhianna because he thinks that since hes a celebrity that he can get away with stuff and the law strictly inforces that because you have more money and a bigger house than people doesnt mean that your gonna get away with things that other people couldnt get away with so Chris Brown I hope that you go to jail because you made this happen all because of a stupid text message and M.J would be very dissapointed in you I didnt like you in the first place so…… but I liked Rhianna and thats the main thing

jay z and al making a big deal out of someting that they had nuttin do wit and the lady who runs the network allowing them to influence her shows just how ignorant and weak people are. al sharpton is always in someones business wen he wants attention and jayz u just made a comeback so y dont u stick horrible music instead of throwin urself in other peoples business

I’m not condoning what he did but its the past. Apparently Rihanna has forgiven him and the world should too. He is a good !(`^_`))_$)!`&* et to the entertainment world and everybody just need to lay off. He has sincerely apologized completely and should be forgiven. Let it be in God’s hands to judge him. Everybody make mistakes and some worse then others, so all that is still dwelling on the past needs to back off because he is a good person, he just made a terrible decision at a moments time. I still have love for you Chris. Keep your head up because the only person opinion that matters is GOD!
