Matt Damon Cancels Appearance Due To Family Emergency

Matt Damon was spotted walking with wife Luciana and youngest daughter Gia in Boston yesterday, soon after it was announced that he would not be able to host that night’s OneXOne charity fundraiser in San Francisco. His father Kent and brother Kyle joined the couple for lunch in Newbury. The Bourne Supremacy star has blamed his absence on a “family emergency of a serious nature.” “He wouldn’t have missed it otherwise,” said a representative. Damon’s been busy of late, filming The Adjustment Bureau in NYC. He will soon begin work on Hereafter, the second of two upcoming movies with director Clint Eastwood.
