Lambert Booted Off ABC’s “Good Morning America,” Embraced By CBS
ABC’s “Good Morning America” canceled a scheduled performance by Adam Lambert today, following his controversial R-rated song and dance number on the American Music Awards. Here’s the official word from an ABC talking head: “Given his controversial American Music Awards performance, we were concerned about airing a similar concert so early in the morning.”
While ABC may think its viewers aren’t able to stomach simulated fellatio before 8AM, CBS clearly knows its audience likes a little bit o’ raunch with their coffee and eggs. They snatched Lambert right up for a stint on “The Early Show” tomorrow morning. Meanwhile, Lambert’s supporters are venting their frustrations with ABC on Twitter, where “Shame On You ABC” is currently a trending topic, along with “Adam Lambert,” ” GMA” and “ABC.”

Im so sorry and I just really LOVE Adam,but this world is so Crazy right now Im going through a very difficult time with my Young neice that I am raising my problelm is that she is a lebo and she thinks that I dont love her because I wont except that but this is not true! but stupid things like this Adam Lambert stuff makes it hard..

This is ridiculous that ABC cancelled Adam, but not unexpected-Remember how Elvis was treared because of his hip action, The Doors for lyrics, Madonna for pushing the envelope, and the list goes on and on….censorship….Wake up people, the Beatles were discredited for having ‘long’ hair. TV management doesn’t have a problem with females kissing and using expressive movement so why treat such a wonderful artist as Adam so poorly? Again, Wake Up - give Adam the good coverage, he is an great talent - CBS you are doing an inservice to everybody - give Adam air time!

Since November 23rd I have been waiting to see adam lamberts new video on VH1 along with millions of fans. It is brilliant.
I am not gay I am a 40 year old christian women with three children and beleive that Adam is extremely talented and know that he will rocket to number 1.
I have been more offended when you have shown other videos promoting abuse of alchohol, physical abuse, drug abuse and gang life which is so much worse than anything Adam did.

Adam Lambert is such an awesome performer, but these blatant attempts at shocking people are downright weird! Why would anyone derail their career like that? Even if some female performer had simulated fellatio, I think that crosses the line too, not just because its gay sex, in his case. It’s too graphic for a performance on tv. Someone should help guide him!
