Rihanna recently confirmed to Hot 97 that it was really her in those nude photos someone leaked last May. “They were for my boyfriend at the time,” she told the station, “if you don’t send your boyfriend naked pictures, then I feel bad for him.” Yes, even with the public embarrassment she suffered after they leaked (”I thought, ‘Oh great, so now there’s nothing they don’t know about me and my private life’”), Rihanna is standing firm that providing naked photos of yourself is a lady’s romantic obligation. Making mom blush is just collateral damage.
“It was humiliating and it was embarrassing—especially my mom having to see that,” she continued, explaining that she sent flowers before breaking the news. “I was nervous [but] when the world is against me, she’s always there supporting.” Considering the same can’t be said about Chris Brown (who denied leaking the photos), maybe she should reconsider her stance on boudoir photography. wow i feel bad for if you think you have to send nude pics to your boyfriend. what kind of role model is that for young teenage girls? i would be ashamed to someday (i am 21 no kids) let my daughter listen to your music. i know i will boycott every rihanna song after this . sad ….

I am so proud of Rihanna for fessing up to what she did and owning it. And for those of you bashing her for her actions, like you haven’t done anything ten times worst. I mean, so what if she took nude pics or whatever, what she does in the dark is her business, not yours. If anything, people should look up to her for confirming the truth instead of denying it like most celebs do nowadays. Rihanna, keep holding your head high, and know that I have you in my prayers. Newd photos are always leaked, i don’t see why girls keep falling for the ‘oh i wont show anyone’ line. Lol. But i really see nothing wrong with sending your bf nekkid pics, i mean come on now, he’s just a man. And if he doesn’t see Riri, he’s just gonna go look at some other naked pics of some other random chicks. That just how dudes are, doesn’t mean they don’t love you. Gotta keep it sexy with your man

ME 123 those pictures were supposed to be private–I think many girls enjoy sending racy pictures to their boyfriends and don’t see one thing wrong with it–I feel sorry for any of your future kids who will be raised to feel ashamed of their bodies and believe that sex is bad.
I thinks she IS a role model–she admitted the pictures were hers and why she took them. It wasn’ t like she did a spread in playboy and if she did, so what?
The naked human body is beautiful and nothing to be ashamed of–and those pictures were supposed to be private period~! The fact they were leaked doesn’t matter…if they weren’t you would have never known about it, right?

Wow, such stupid thought, yeah what if that boyfriend of yours turned out to be a jerk who will send those naked pictures of yours to the net or share it with his friends etc. you never know lol.
and why would she feel bad for the bf with no naked pics of her gf? It’s not a big deal and should not be a big deal. Her distinction between “love and lust” is indeed vaque.
and i agree with me123, what kind of role model is that?… doesn’t she know that there are kids that could be reading this? I wonder what would she thought if one day, Rhiana has her own family and her 12years old daughters would send naked pictures of themselves to their boyfriends.
