Just days after Lily Allen was spotted canoodling in the Caribbean with Jay Jopling, an art dealer 22 years her senior, she was snapped back in London wearing what looks like an engagement ring. Did 45-year-old Jay propose to 23-year-old Lily during the holidays? If so, she may have a new reason to “smile” (sorry, people).
By representing super-successful artists like Damien Hirst, Gilbert & George, Chuck Close and even his ex-wife Sam Taylor-Wood (the two just split last September), Mr. Jopling has amassed a pirate’s booty of about $150,000,000.
