Yes, we’d look like the cat that got the cream, too. British artist-turned-film director Sam Taylor-Wood has announced she’s marrying her actor boyfriend Aaron Johnson, 19. The 42-year-old directed him in the upcoming Beatles film Nowhere Boy, and the couple have now announced their engagement, saying they’re “very happy.”

Why do we always forgive Britney Spears for everything? A comeback that’s clearly not 100% sensible — witness her far-from-slick performance on the X-Factor and her worrying mental state in docu Britney: For The Record — means the shine has come off New Britney for us recently. But that’s all been forgotten now that we’ve seen these super-cute pictures of Brit and her even more adorable sons at her brother Brian’s wedding. We can barely gather our breath for squeaking “AWWWWW” at Sean Preston’s (or is it Jayden James’? We can never be quite sure) baby tuxedo, and that’s even before we’ve checked out Britney’s stunning dress. Black, sexy without being slutty, and showing off her new gym-honed bod means she looks the business.

It’s just such a shame that in the Spears family wedding albums, Britney’s outfits at her own previous two weddings (#1 Cut off shorts, baseball cap, drunk look, #2 short-shorts as part of her wedding outfit, “Pimps and Maids” velour tracksuits for the wedding party) just don’t come up to scratch in the same way. So this is why there’s going to be a fifth season of The Hills. Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt eloped in Mexico this weekend, uniting their forces of loser-ness into one terrible marriage. The publicity-hungry pair are currently feeding all the details to Perez Hilton and Us Weekly, who will feature the wedding pics on their cover this week. As much as we loathe these two, we can’t wait to ogle over them decked out in virginal white. If you aren’t already gagging, here are the vows Spencer supposedly read to his beloved:

More beautiful people are getting married and making the rest of us sick with jealousy overjoyed with happiness - Orlando Bloom has proposed to his girlfriend Miranda Kerr. According to reports, the Pirates star and Victoria’s Secret model are headed down the aisle late in 2009.

“They are talking about settling down and getting married in a year. They have had a bit of crazy year, but they do love each other and she wants to be his wife,” reports Metro.

Amid all the hoo-ha proclaiming them the new Brangelina, we’re not entirely buying it. We wish them well, but really, when was the last time Orlando said anything interesting? And we’re not sure we’ve even heard Miranda talk - far less spill her guts about sexy photoshoots, adopting the world, and being dissed as very “uncool” by Kate Bosworth. When we last saw Corey Haim, he was screaming (ok, mostly mumbling) at on-again-off-again bro Corey Feldman for trying to curb his excessive ways on The Two Coreys. Thankfully, there have been some hopes for a comeback. First he scored a role in Crank 2: High Voltage, Jason Statham’s first car-go-fast movie of 2009 (we hope it won’t be the only one), and now he’s announced that he’s getting married!

According to his website, Haim recently reunited with Tiffany Shepis, co-star of the 1996 thriller Fever Lake (with Mario Lopez), at a Chiller Theatre autograph show. Sparks flew, and the couple are looking at a May ‘09 wedding. That leaves plenty of time for the Coreys to patch things up and get A&E to film the ceremony as part of The Two Coreys…Season 3!

Father Donald may have taught Ivanka Trump to worship the almighty dollar, but she’s converting to Judaism before she marries New York Observer owner Jared Kushner. According to Page Six, Rabbi Haskel Lookstein is handling the conversion. “She and Jared were in shul during all the holidays and ate in the sukkah every night,” says their source.

Ironically, Donald got in a bit of trouble with Jewish groups in 2005, when he failed to punish an Apprentice contestant for calling another competitor a “tight Jewish boy.” Still, we expect Papa will be fine with his daughter’s choice—after all, Kushner is a good, sweet, real estate heir and newspaper owner.

Radio’s favorite Fart Man, Howard Stern, wed his longtime girlfriend, super-hot model Beth Ostrosky, on Friday night in NYC at the high-end restaurant Le Cirque. While Howard’s known as a “shock jock” to some, the wedding was intimate and low-key: actor Mark Consuelos officiated, as his wife Kelly Ripa looked on. Also in attendance were fellow Stern show stars Robin Quivers and Artie Lang, as well as Chevy Chase, Donald Trump, Barbara Walters, Joan Rivers, Billy Joel (who performed at the reception) and on-again couple, Jimmy Kimmel and Sarah Silverman (yay!). George Takei—Star Trek’s beloved Mr. Sulu—married Brad Altman, his partner of 21 years, in a Buddhist ceremony on Saturday, followed by a reception at the Japanese American National Museum. The couple, who announced their plans to wed when the California supreme court legalized gay marriage, made their entrance to “One” from A Chorus Line. “We have a relationship that’s been stronger and longer lived than some of our straight friends, and yet we were not equal,” said Takei. What this does is give us that dignity.”
