We don’t know if Julia Roberts‘ 40 gunmen came with the actress to Bali as she continued filming for Eat, Pray, Love, but they better have brought scuba gear. The actress and co-star Javier Bardem were spotted—along with their film crew—enjoying a soak off the island’s coast last weekend. Though tales of pissed-off locals (and stars!) have followed the film—about a woman’s religious voyage—from country to country, everyone looked happy on set. Or rather, in the set.

Julia Roberts has reportedly pissed off locals in India while shooting her new film. Production of her latest movie Eat, Pray, Love should probably be renamed Eat, Don’t Pray, and Get Out Of Ms Roberts’ Way Now, Peasant as it’s closed down a Hindu temple for filming purposes during a religious festival. Ironically, the movie’s about a woman who finds herself spiritually.

“Entry for devotees is barred. We were not allowed to enter and pray in the morning by the security. Only those who could manage to sneak in did so but most of us were all sent back. It’s Navratras and we must not be stopped from visiting a temple,” a local says. Julia has also come under ridicule in the Indian press for her “presidential” security arrangements; surrounding herself with 40 gunmen and traveling in  a bulletproof car during her stay.  [Photo: FilmMagic]

Julia Roberts gave a dirty little speech peppered with F-bombs when she saluted Tom Hanks last night.

“It’s late and I’m paying my babysitter overtime, and I have to pee,” Julia said at the 36th Annual Film Society of Lincoln Center Gala Tribute, where Tom was given the Chaplin award. “So, everybody f*@king likes you,” Julia said to Tom.

The potty-mouthed Pretty Woman also went on to talk about Tom’s wife Rita Wilson’s boobs, waist, and a$$. “Listen, I had lunch today with Rita, and her tits were here (she motioned high up) and her waist was here (she motioned small) and her a$$ was like that (she motioned high again),” Julia continued. “So, what can I tell you that’s new? Tom Hanks, what the f*%k?”

Then the mother-of-three gave her own expletive-heavy review of Tom’s movies. “That movie about you and the airport and the accent was a pass for me,” Julia said of 2004’s The Terminal. “Airport? Were you just an immigrant lost? I didn’t know. I love you, but I didn’t know … and I’m wearing the same f*&#ing dress tonight as your publicist!”

Only two of the nine movies he’s made over the last five years, Sin City and The Inside Man, were hits in the U.S.—and both featured bigger male stars (Bruce Willis and Denzel Washington, respectively).
