Manhattan’s Hammerstein Ballroom was glittering last night—and it wasn’t just the reflection off Spike Lee’s hat. Alicia Keys and a very pregnant Padma Lakshmi hosted Keep A Child Alive’s 6th Annual Black Ball last night, entertaining a room full of stars with musical assistance from John Mayer and Chris Martin. Among the celebs in attendance were Usher, David Bowie, Iman, Adrien Grenier, Nick Cannon and Halle Berry, whose sequined, cut-crazy dress fit right in with Spike’s hat. Alicia Keys has a secret boyfriend, who has been kept on the DL because of his babymomma drama, until he confirmed their love in a new song. Her secret love Swizz Beatz gushes over Alicia in Drake’s new “Best I Ever Had” remix where he says,
“Wake up in the morning and my baby cooked me breakfast. A’s naked wearing nothing on but a necklace…
Yeah, she say she wanna treat me like a king. I get big gifts so the money ain’t a damn thing.
She gave me a party at the Guggenheim…What’s next? The ring? The baby? She really loves me.”
Alicia did reportedly throw Swizz a huge birthday party at the Guggenheim, but he insists, the whole song is not about her, nor are they actually ready to take it to the next level. “… we’re nowhere near ready for a baby or a ring,” he laughed.
The couple have reportedly been keeping things quiet partly because Swizz is going through a nasty divorce with his ex Mashonda, who is seeking more support for their 2-year-old son Kaseem Jr. [Source: NYDN Photo: WireImage]

Natalie Portman and Alicia Keys both pinked out on the red carpet tonight, making the Oscars extra girly. Color aside their gowns were eerily similar, so we have to ask - which do you like better? But every year some singers sneak into the party, and tonight all of the songstresses on the red carpet have performed on film as well. Miley Cyrus has The Hannah Montana Movie under her belt, Alicia Keys starred beside Scarlett Johansson in The Nanny Diaries, Beyonce rocked it in Dreamgirls and Queen Latifah was Oscar-nominated for her work in Chicago.

What is camel toe, you ask? It’s “punani” gone awry, “yum yum” that just won’t cooperate, “coochie” in a state of defiance. Most embarrassingly, camel toe is visible for the whole world to see — usually due to overly tight jeans (Coco), hot pants (Brooke Hogan) or bad bathing attire (Rosie O’Donnell, cover thyself!). Why do people care about camel toe? Because some have a juvenile interest in glimpsing O.P.P. (Other Peoples’ Property). The rumor that Alicia Keys got between producer Swizz Beatz (pictured above, together in 2004) and his wife Mashonda is heating up, and confusing all of us who believe in her good girl, great voice image. This is Alicia Keys were talking about, she’s basically a saint with a piano and a couple of bad outfits under her belt (and hey, doesn’t she have some serious boyfriend?). Even those Swizz is denying any infidelity, he supposedly threw Alicia a birthday party, where she introduced him as “The man of the hour and my boo.” A friend of his ex blabbed that Mashonda thought the pair was working things out: “She thought they were trying to put their marriage back together. Meanwhile, he’s apparently been telling Alicia that his marriage was over.”
But we’ll let Swizz have the final word. He’s now speaking out in an attempt to defend Alicia and clear his name, of course. He tells Us: “I am disappointed that some have chosen to try and tarnish Alicia’s reputation by irresponsibly implicating her in a situation that she has absolutely nothing to do with.”
