Billy Ray Wants Miley To Tweet Again

Billy Ray Cyrus has taken to his Twitter to hound daughter Miley about returning to the messaging service. While we obviously sympathize, there is just so much wrong about this.

Miley. You are a light in a world of darkness. You were born”Destiny Hope Cyrus” for a reason.You can’t leave everyone now.We r countin on u.

I understand “it is true one bad apple spoils the bunch”.But listen to the words of your songs “Stand… for what ya believe in”…Remember?

First off, if the issue that she’s not on Twitter anymore, so why write to her on Twitter? Does he assume she checks his page? Second, while any dad loves to embarrass his daughter, shouldn’t he be bringing up her full name and song lyrics at the kitchen table rather than on a website? And third, if your biggest beef with your kid is that she no longer wants to expose her inner thoughts online, consider yourself incredibly lucky. And shave off that damn soul patch—you’re almost 50.

Say it ain’t so! Miley Cyrus has retired from Twitter, and over a stupid boy! “FYI Liam doesn’t have a Twitter and he wants ME to delete mine with good reason,” wrote the singer before deleting her page, submitting to the wishes of Liam Hemsworth, her alleged new boyfriend and definite co-star in The Last Song. Even if #mileycomeback fails to win her over, we’ll bet she’ll run crying back to the message service once this Aussie hunk is out of her system. Until then, let’s look back at some of her greatest tweets.

• Miley, The Gay Rights Crusader: “jesus loves you AND your partner and wants you to know how much he cares! thats like a daddy not loving his lil boy cuz hes gay and that is WRONG and very sad! like i said everyone deserves to be happy.”
• Miley, The Hater Hater: “people that are so okay with being so hateful diguist me and need to spend last time on a gossip website and more time a. reading your bible b. reading stories/articles about what happens when cyber abuse and name calling happens…oh and ps if your thighs don’t jiggle go see a doctor. thanks.”

And don’t forget those racy twitpics! While her rejection of self-overexposure hurts, Justin “Afraid To Love (Underage Girls Again)” Gaston thankfully remains online, posting pictures of himself kissing a puppy. Hopefully, celebrity twitterers will follow his lead.

As the youngest Diva of the night (she’s only 16!), Miley Cyrus was in some pretty incredible company. She even did a duet of “If It Makes You Happy” with Sheryl Crow, and later tweeted “it was the best moment of my entire life.” While many a Miley fan loved her VH1 Divas performances, we noticed some pretty rough comments in our Live Divas Blog Party and some media outlets are questioning not only her diva status but whether her outfits were too racy for her age. (Our two cents: She looked phenomenal and held her own during the show.)

So what’s the problem, people? Is it that she’s too young to have paid her dues? We suppose rough reviews are all part of being an Official Diva. But watch her performance and look at her red carpet photos, then tell us: Does Miley warrant the criticism?

Besides regular performance challenges, Miley Cyrus has her fatigue to overcome when she sings tonight. Miley dished backstage that she is on two hours sleep and is at the point where “everything is really funny.” If anyone can pull it off, we are sure Miss Miley has what it takes!

Miley Cyrus and Nick Jonas may be giving their romance another go. According to the New York Daily News, the pair have been in constant contact since working together on an upcoming video — even locking tongues at Casa Jonas.

Because they’re working together, they’ve been put in close proximity to each other. They’re now spending more and more time together, and they’re constantly on the phone.

Miley was over at the Jonas house recently, and they were smooching. Nick’s parents have this rule that when a girl is over, the door has to be open, but that didn’t stop Nick and Miley from making out.

But what about Justin Gaston, her underwear model 20-year-old boyfriend? “She doesn’t know how to tell Justin that they’re over, but Nick is being very firm with her,” says their source. “He’s a good, stand-up kind of guy, and is making Miley tell Justin very, very soon.” If Gaston gets the boot, she better hope he doesn’t get all Levi Johnston about it. Cuz you know they’ve got secrets.

Even if she wasn’t enjoying massive success with her music, Carrie Underwood would have earned the Academy Of Country Music’s Entertainer Of The Year award just for the startling number of outfits she wore at the ceremony last night. The showstopper was a gargantuan ballgown that appeared to consume the stage during “I Told You So.” Trying pulling that off, Tim McGraw!
