Ever since Nicole Kidman bared all on the West End stage in The Blue Room, getting your kit off in a thespy-type situation has been the fast-ticket to success for ambitious actresses. And now Anna Friel, whose show Pushing Daises was recently canceled (and is best known in the UK for being the first actress to do a lesbian snog on-screen back in 1993 for now-defunct soap Brookside - watch it here) has followed in her skin-baring footsteps.
Anna’s currently wowing the crowds with her acting skills - and gym-honed butt - in a production of Breakfast At Tiffany’s, that’s garnering positive reviews. But theatre bosses have attempted to ban folk from taking sneaky mobile snaps of Anna in the buff (although you can see them here) because it’s a “serious production” hazard. Yep, we know. But doesn’t her bum look amazing, too? [Photo: WENN]

In Britain, it’s a bank holiday weekend at the moment, which means everyone has Monday off work - woo! In celebration of this three-day-weekend - and the last one before Christmas - people celebrate in the traditional British fashion: by getting absolutely hammered. And it’s good to see that despite being a Hollywood actress these days, Anna Friel hasn’t forgone her roots. The Pushing Daisies star rolled out of the celebby Ivy Club in London on Saturday looking well-oiled, and without shoes. A good night! [Photo: Splash News Online]

These polls are about as accurate as Britney Spears‘ grasp of geography, but what the hey - British beauty Cheryl Cole has been voted the Sexiest Woman In The World by FHM readers. She nudged out Transformers sexbomb Megan Fox into second place, who won the poll last year. The only other Brits in the top ten were Page 3 topless model Keeley Hazell (probably for her political insight) and actress Anna Friel. Slumdog Millionaire star Freida Pinto made a respectable debut at no. 10, although some surprising ladies failed to chart, like Paris Hilton and Jennifer Lopez. [Photos: WireImage]
