Consult your doctor before taking medical advice from Bret Michaels. Discussing how his lifelong battle with diabetes has affected his sex life in Elle Magazine, the Rock Of Love star admitted to some sketchy methods for improving his sex life.

The only time it will ever affect you in bed is if you have extremely low blood sugar and you go into insulin shock, at which point you won’t be standing up, let alone performing sex. However, I will sometimes hold off on the insulin, which will jack my blood sugar level up to the low 200 range. It’s like how a prizefighter will want to go into the ring with his blood sugar levels high. It gives you the stamina of a bull. So, yes, sometimes I will endanger my own life to pleasure a woman.

While that bull-like stamina has done him well over the years, we hope Bret is exaggerating the risks he’s taking a little. Then again, there are worse ways to go… [H/T HuffPost]

Theater freaks offended by the presence of Poison at last night’s Tony Awards should appreciate what happened to Bret Michaels at the end of their performance. The rockers—representing Rock Of Ages—dominated the bombastic opening medley, but victory turned to embarrassment when Michaels was knocked to the ground by a descending set piece. The Rock Of Love hero is not believed to be seriously injured, but reportedly had x-rays taken after the calamity. Hard to imagine a stage pro like Bret could get beaned on Broadway!

Rock of Love Bus star Bret Michaels stopped by Ellen today and revealed that his dream girl is a combination of Brad Pitt’s famous ladies.

When Ellen DeGeneres probed Bret about what his perfect woman was like, he explained that she needed to be a combination of good and bad. When Ellen asked who exactly that would be like, he explained that his heart beats for a “combination of Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston.”

Bret also insisted that although this is his third season of Rock of Love, he is not “doing it for great TV” but really is trying to find love. Bret also revealed that he and Rock of Love 2 winner Ambre Lake are still in touch, but it just didn’t work out.

“She and me still get together and talk, but it didn’t pan out,” he says.

According to Bret, he may not have to look for love any more! When Ellen asked if he found someone on Rock of Love Bus, which is now done taping, Bret enthusiastically answered, “Absolutely!”
