Josh Hartnett Just Can’t Stop Complaining

Josh Hartnett isn’t a pretty boy Hollywood actor, OK — and blimey, doesn’t he want us all to know it. The star of The Faculty and 40 Days and 40 Nights (and don’t you forget it mate), is in London treading the boards in a West End production of RainMan. To celebrate, he’s given a whiney, miserable interview to the capital’s ES Magazine bemoaning his terrible lot in life. The highlights (or should we say lowlights?) include:
- Asked whether he’s happy: “No, I wouldn’t say I’m happy.”
- Asked what love feels like: “A kick in the face.”
- Commenting on the fact his agent never told him he’d won a role in The Thin Red Line: “That’s Hollywood. It’s horrible, right?” (OK, maybe we’re with you on that one)
- On presenting at the Oscars: “I went with my girlfriend and we had a weird little time.”
- On starring with Harrison Ford in Hollywood Homicide: “It was a tough shoot for me because I was only half there … I was like the kid who had to be shooed away. Harrison’s a tough guy. He wasn’t all warm and fuzzy on set, that’s for sure.”
God, even though it’s Friday now WE feel depressed Josh. Lighten up a bit FFS! You’re fit, successful and have got loads of cash. What on earth are you going to be like when your career’s on the skids?
