Twenty-nine years ago today, a little bootylicious bundle of joy named Kim Kardashian was born into the world. Who knew this little one would grow up to cause all kinds of antics like making a sex tape, palling around with Paris Hilton, starring on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, and providing us endless hours of entertainment and shock at her outfits and stunts.
Kim kicked off her birthday celebrations early, by having a wild party at Tao in Las Vegas last week. Her real birthday is still a week away, but Kim Kardashian will kick off her 29th birthday celebration tonight at Las Vegas’ Tao nightclub. Although Kim’s family and Keeping Up With the Kardashians co-stars Kris, Bruce, Khloe, and even pregnant Kourtney, will be at the soiree, noticeably absent will be on-again boyfriend Reggie Bush. “He can’t come because of the game,” Kim said. Talk about truth in advertising. Pamela Anderson reminded everybody what real Hollywood style was at the Hollywood Style Awards in LA last night, baring her panty-clad crotch on the red carpet to the non-delight of her stylist’s daughter, who somehow got the unlucky job of holding Pam’s train. Lately her sisters Khloe and Kourtney have been nabbing all the headlines, with their quickie wedding and pregnancy, but Kim Kardashian is not one to stand in the shadows. Her solution? Pose for the cover of Cosmo and talk about Reggie Bush - oh and just for a little extra, let’s resurrect that sex tape too. Take that Khloe and Kourtney, now Kim is back in the spotlight!
“I’ve learned what I’d need to do to balance a career and family. A lot of work goes into relationships. Right now, I’m figuring it out,” Kim tells the mag.
And as for that sex tape that everyone had stopped talking about: “I was devastated, but when something negative happens, I pick myself up and move on…and, I don’t make the same mistake twice,” Kim shares.
We probably should have known something was up when we woke up this morning to the sound of angels singing and walked outside to see a swarm of doves flying together in the shape of a heart. Yes, Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush have reunited as a couple! (Cue anti-climactic fart noise.)
“Yes, they are back together,” revealed an insider. “They took a few months off and couldn’t be apart. The time away was needed so that they could figure out what their priorities were.”
Kim apparently got lonely at her sister Khloe’s wedding (no one to dance the “Macarena” with, probably) and hustled her booty down to New Orleans to reconcile with her ex. Surely it must just be love and fate - and not a desperate bid for attention after Kim’s sisters Kourtney and Khloe scored press for their pregnancy and wedding - that brought them back together, right? After a whirlwind one month romance, Khloe Kardashian tied the knot with LA Lakers star Lamar Odom. The ceremony took place at the Bel-Air mansion of music mogul Irving Azoff and the youngest Kardashian sister walked down the aisle in a Vera Wang gown with stepfather Bruce Jenner.
Khloe’s bridal party included sister Kim Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian, half sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner, Khadijah and Malika Haqq, and Lauren London. Celebrities in attendance included Ryan Seacrest, Kelly Osbourne, along with Lamar’s Laker teammate Kobe Bryant and wife Vanessa. A ten piece orchestra played as the bridesmaids wore lavender and carried white roses.
Khloe’s reception was a nightclub-themed bash with dark wooden walls, white carpet, silver mirrors, and chandeliers. “Tonight was one of the best nights of my life,” sister Kim wrote on Twitter. “Khloe and Lamar’s wedding was a night to remember. I love you both so much!”Said sister Kourtney, “So happy for my beautiful sister.”
As beautiful as it was, was it real? Reports say that Khloe and Lamar rushed to tie the knot because Khloe and family’s E! reality show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians, was to foot the $1 million wedding bill, but the ceremony had to be filmed Sunday. Due to the rush, apparently there was no time to finish up their prenup, so the couple reportedly signed an agreement that this is a non-binding ceremony, until they get their prenup signed.
