It’s the oldest, cheesiest line in the book — usually delivered by guys trying to suck up to your parents before they break your heart. But in this case it’s actually true. By waiting for her daughter to reach the age of 20, and traveling back in years herself via the medium of surgery and just plain spookiness, Demi Moore has finally achieved the exact visual age of Rumer and they totally resemble sisters.

What was once an intimate geekapalooza has now evolved into a gathering of the hottest bodies in Hollywood. The beautiful people continue to flock to San Diego for this weekend’s annual Comic-Con, which celebrates the comic book’s contribution to mainstream culture. Zoe Saldana, Kristen Bell, Olivia Wilde, Audrina Patridge, Megan Fox, Cameron Diaz, and of course the cast of New Moon are some of the attendees heating things up. Often elusive but always gorgeous Johnny Depp even made a surprise appearance when friend and director Tim Burton presented their highly anticipated film, Alice in Wonderland. Everything old is new again, especially when it comes to high school drama shows. Looks like 90210 is resurrecting the lesbian-character-as-plot-device, but this time, the lesbian will be played by Rumer Willis. Willis will play a “punky, cute lesbian” named Gia who works at the Blaze Newspaper at West Beverly High. She’ll be on for at least one episode.

This is the second time a lesbian has shown up in Beverly Hills - remember the time Kelly Taylor got caught in a fire with a lesbian and then that lesbian fell for Kelly on the original Beverly Hills, 90210 and stalked her? We wonder if the Jennie Garth character, who now plays a guidance counselor at West Beverly, will share some words of wisdom with her new student about how to deal with the pressures of the famous zip code. No boring little black dresses at this event! The outfits on the red carpet at the MuchMusic Video Awards in Canada were all about stripes, lace, color, cutouts, metallics, and designer tights. Stars like Kim Kardashian, Kelly Clarkson, Tila Tequila, and the Black Eyed Peas kept things colorful in wild getups that spiced up the red carpet. She’s done it! Rumer Willis has run out of neckline! The only way should could have sunk deeper at Genus Magazine’s Britweek Designer Of The Year fashion show would have been to unzip her shorts, and they seem buttoned to that suit jacket (what is going on there?). We can guess why she likes to show off her cleavage, but we’re not sure why she couldn’t cover those splotchy gams with pants—she looks like a conservative magician’s assistant.

Lots of teen girls would love to have Ashton Kutcher in their house, but few would want to literally call him daddy. Jaw-dropper Rumer Willis confessed to the Daily Mail that she initially “freaked out” when she found out her mother Demi Moore was getting her punk on with the star of Dude, Where’s My Car?

Ash was a heart-throb, to me. I had pictures of him on my wall at boarding school and I remember my mom saying that her new “friend” Ashton was going to come and hang out with us. And I said, “Whoa, wait – Ashton Kutcher?” and I kind of freaked out a little bit. I definitely blushed.

But I got over any strangeness because I’d never seen my mom happier. It was like watching two 16-year-olds who were going to the prom together and were totally in love.

Ironically, Rumer wasn’t even 16 when Mommy hooked up with the boytoy in 2003. Maybe she was basing her knowledge of prom love on That ’70s Show.

Rumer Willis can’t quite figure out what to be famous for, it seems. She’s tried an acting career, but she hasn’t found much success on the big screen. She’s altered her style in every way possible, but she still looks like the not-so-cute daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore. Her latest attempt, however, is her best yet! Rumer Willis is known in the UK, for, well, not doing anything but being the daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis. So she’s given an interview to Style mag to redress the balance somewhat, and starts off in terrific style by denying she was ever friends with Lindsay Lohan.

“We were acquaintances, like many in this business. That’s it, full stop.” Okaaaay. And do many “acquaintances” like to speak out on behalf of their “acquaintance” when they go into rehab? Or give them pap-friendly kisses like at the Cinematheque awards in 2006 (above)? Or be such good party “acquaintances” that stepdad Ashton Kutcher sat down and “warned” you off her (originally from the Chicago Sun-Times)?

Frankly, it’s a mystery. Rumer also ‘fesses the slightly disconcerting news that as a teenager, she had Ashton’s poster on her wall (”I did, amongst others. It was a bit strange, but we adapted pretty quickly.” You’d have to!) and that many people assume she’s a lesbian because of her short haircut (”I do get that.
