More Slumdog Millionaire career-boosting news! As well as being picked up to star in the next Woody Allen flick, actress Freida Pinto could be the next Bond Girl after being invited to screen-test for the next movie, which could even be helmed by SM director Danny Boyle.
“Freida came to the attention of the Bond team when they were casting Quantum of Solace. She was too young at the time to have a part as a love interest for a secret agent. But she has blossomed into an incredibly stunning young woman and would look perfect on Daniel Craig’s arm,” reports the Sun.
It’s a great idea, Frieda! Being a Bond Girl is a passport to a fabulous career. Just look what happened to Halle Berry’s career just after she starred in Bond! Oh. What about Teri Hatcher’s? Damn. Denise Richards? Ok, we’re going to have to think about this one…[Photo: WireImage]

What does Nicolette Sheridan think of a potential date with Ryan Seacrest? “That’s gross…I’ve met him,” she told Ellen Degeneres of the American Idol host.
“Yeah, I don’t like him,” she said of her Desperate Housewives co-star Teri Hatcher’s ex. Teri and Ryan dated in 2006, and when he ended things, Teri seemed slightly upset. When Oprah asked Teri why he broke up with her, Teri shrugged sadly, “I don’t know…I ate too much lobster?…You’d have to ask him.”

Scandalist has noticed a disturbing trend plaguing Hollywood these days: older celebrity ladies in the prime of their lives dressing like they’re on their way to a Jonas Brothers concert. This fashion illness - known as going teenile - befalls famous middle-aged woman. Symptoms manifest themselves by the presence of tight denim, belly shirts, frilly lace, and lots and lots of skin.

Child molester Richard Hayes Stone (pictured above), Teri Hatcher’s uncle through marriage, died of colon cancer at the age of 70 on Tuesday. The Desperate Housewives star helped put Stone behind bars after she heard of the suicide of Northern California teenager Sarah Van Cleemput (pictured at right). The young woman had left a note after shooting herself in the head that said: “You’re probably thinking a normal teenager doesn’t do this; well, ask Dick!”
The man in question ended up being Hatcher’s uncle, and the actress contacted authorities and secretly revealed to prosecutors that she was molested as a child by him. Mr. Stone pleaded guilty and had served six years of a 14-year jail sentence. [Photos: Splash News Online]
